That song has the same story as "Higher" does. The melody came to my head with words "what it is for" and "take yourself with you wherever you go". I love Neil Gaiman's masterpieces, but had never read "The graveyard book", which this quote was from. So I've read it and fell in love with it (THE SLEER IS THE BEST OF THE BEST JUST SEE THE TITLE OF THE TRACK) and made up lyrics about finding my own way. It's actually about insights and stuff which forces us to develop ourselves. And our paths of the heroes, of course.
lyrics
It's coming from within
Feeling like world is lying at your feet,
But it is indeed.
Here your path begins:
Fear and courage, shivers down the spine.
You just can't deny.
Find your way
By the rivers, over, under the hills.
Never stay,
Never look behind and never give up.
Far away
You will find or maybe not
What you're looking for,
Merry wanderer.
Know your way
When you fight to death or run for your life,
When you're joyful
Or suffering like never before.
It's a matter of time
Are you ever dead or alive
For you take yourself with you
Wherever you go.
Do you remember how
You tried to hear the calling of the road,
Music of the world?
Your heart is singing now.
It is a perfect time to cross the line,
Come and shine!
Find your way
By the rivers, over, under the hills.
Never stay,
Never look behind and never give up.
Far away
You will find or maybe not
What you're looking for,
You merry wanderer.
Know your way
When you fly above or take a deep dive,
When you're joyful
Or suffering like never before.
It's a matter of time
Are you ever dead or alive,
For you take yourself with you
Wherever you go.
Find your way
By the rivers, over, under the hills.
Never stay,
Never look behind and never give up.
Far away
You will find or maybe not
What you're looking for,
Merry wanderer.
Know your way
When you fight to death or run for your life,
When you're joyful
Or suffering like never before.
It's a matter of time
Are you ever dead or alive,
For you take yourself with you
Wherever you go.
